Dad had always wanted to see How to Train Your Dragon but did not have a chance when it was released in the theaters, and there always seemed to be something up preventing his seeing it when it was released to home video. Anyway, while in Jersey, he managed to DVR on Lola's cable TV. He enjoyed the way Hiccup and Toothless connected and is a sucker for "Here's the comes the cavalry!" type stories. He understands why it didn't win the Best Animated Feature back in 2010 (Toy Story 3 was going to be tough to beat), but it was a worthy nomination and not fodder for the winner.
After seeing it, Mom was able to get it for him for Christmas. Dad can now watch it whenever he wants, in high-def, too.
Allow me to introduce myself...

For Christmas, Mom gave a friend a copy of Fifty Shades of Chicken: A Parody in a Cookbook.
I didn't understand a lot of it, but the recipes look tasty.

Back after the holidays
Back and forth from New Jersey. Arrived home yesterday. Mom and Dad wouldn't let me in the front. What's up with that?
