So Dad has decided to slog through Twilight. He's about halfway through the book, but he hit one sentence that stopped him in disbelief.
"I couldn't imagine how an angel could be any more glorious."
Dad read The DaVinci Code back in '06. He thought that was a very poorly written book from plotting to characterization and even to the actual construction of sentences. The sentence above though just may be the most overwrought sentence he has ever read. It's enough to make ME howl, and I'm a cat.
