Mom, Dad, Uncle Cris, and Kaley are watching the first game of the American League Championship Series on TV. A lot of the players are bundled up. Dad told me www.weather.com says it's 46 degrees in the Bronx. That sounds really cold. I haven't felt that in some time.
Anyhoo, C.C. Sabathia looked pretty good in the top half of the first, giving up one hit, but nothing else to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Then in the home half of the first, the Yankees score two runs. Derek Jeter scores on a sacrifice fly by Alex Rodriguez. Johnny Damon then scores on a Hideki Matsui pop up to the left side of the infield that the Angels just let drop. It was scored a single, so Matsui gets an RBI.
Allow me to introduce myself...
Here's Zoe!
